Are you a Secret Christian

We were introduced to Mordecai in our last post and now in Esther 2:10-11 we see him pacing back and forth in front of the courtyard of the women’s quarters concerned about how Esther was doing.  He had raised her and was concerned for her well being. Remember, these women were taken against their will, they didn’t have a choice. Out of his concern and for her own safety, Mordecai warned Esther to conceal the fact that she was a Jew. They had seen the discrimination and the anti-Semitism.

How many of us could be classified as a secret Christian? When we are at work or school, with friends or with family do we openly practice our Christian faith? Do you share Christ or are you silent? Do you fear the consequences of sharing your faith and therefore choose to say nothing?
