We have reached the end of another year and wow who knew when we started this year of what laid in store for the world. 2021 may start off rough as we continue to fight through a pandemic; however, my dear friend, take courage as we look forward to a new year and new opportunities.
For God alone, O my soul, wait in silence, for my hope is from him. ~ Psalm 62:5
We now say goodbye to 2020 and look forward to God’s blessings in 2021. Nothing can separate us from the amazing love of God.
Romans 8:38-39 For I am persuaded that neither death nor life, nor angels nor principalities nor powers, nor things present nor things to come, nor height nor depth, nor any other created thing, shall be able to separate us from the love of God which is in Christ Jesus our Lord.
As we continue to face uncertain times, let us find comfort as we keep our focus on God ~ Hebrews 12:2 talks about Looking unto Jesus, the author and finisher of our faith … ‘looking’ is in the Present Active Participle – it means we are to continually look unto Jesus. This is not a one-time act; it is to be a continual action. We are to continually fix our eyes in a steady intent look with eagerness and studious attention upon God. May you find comfort as your soul gazes upon Jesus knowing He is with you through every moment of a day. Take courage to know that God is with you and draw your strength from him.
