In the midst of all the turmoil and sorrow of this world, as Christians we can have joy within our soul.
Joy and Happiness are two different things; Joy comes from the inside where we have a peace that only Christ can bring – a peace beyond understanding.
My friend, allow your soul to sing praises to the Lord. The Psalmist said: ‘That my soul may sing praise to You and not be silent. O LORD my God, I will give thanks to You forever’. (Psalm 30:12) ‘I will sing to the LORD as long as I live; I will sing praise to my God while I have my being.’ (Psalm 104:33)
No matter how hard times get, my soul will not be silent! I will trust You Lord and know that You are in control. My soul will sing praises to you Lord, my rock and my redeemer!
