The Christmas season is upon us and for those of you who are struggling right now, please know that you are Not Alone! My friend, there are so many emotions swimming in our heads that it can be overwhelming but hold on as the Christmas season is a season of Hope!
At this time of year every loss is magnified, every wound is deepened, every past hurt and pain is brought to surface again as well as the financial burdens of trying to make ends meet. We can all identify with the pain that life brings sometimes. But my encouragement to you my friend is to hold on to Jesus for He is Always with you and knows your pain. He can comfort your soul. Jesus said in Matthew 28:20 ‘…I am with you always, even to the end of the age.’
God gave us the perfect gift, His Son Jesus Christ to bring us Salvation. John 3:16-17 “For God so loved the world, that he gave his only Son, that whoever believes in him should not perish but have eternal life. God did not send his Son into the world to condemn the world, but in order that the world might be saved through him”. God loved us so much that He gave the ultimate sacrifice for us!
Now the perfect gift you can give is Not found all wrapped up under the tree. My friend, give the gift of caring, the gift of kindness, the gift of forgiveness this Christmas season. Pray that the Father will give you His eyes to see the broken people crying out for help this Christmas season. Lord heal the pain in the tears of those around us.
If you are going through a rough time right now, I pray you feel the loving arms of your savior Jesus Christ around you this Christmas season.
If you have not yet accepted this Free gift, you can do it Now!
“If you confess with your mouth, ‘Jesus is Lord,’ and believe in your heart that God raised Him from the dead, you will be saved.” Romans 10:9
Here is a sample prayer:
“Dear Lord Jesus, I know that I am a sinner and I need Your forgiveness. I believe that You died for my sins. I now invite You to come into my heart and life. I want to trust and follow You as my personal Lord and Savior. In Jesus’ name. Amen.” ~
